Thank you for your interest in our programs and congratulations on making the choice to pursue residency training!
Through the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy and its practice partners, Kroger Pharmacy, Barney's Pharmacy, Village Drug Shop, Georgia Regents Health System, St. Josephs/Candler, Veterans Health Administration (VA), and Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital (PPMH), we are proud to offer several unique and challenging post graduate residency training opportunities.
All programs have attained (or are in the process of attaining) full American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) accreditation. We encourage all those interested in learning more about our programs to contact us directly by email at the addresses provided.
As you review training information, please keep in mind that we are committed to your development as a direct patient care provider. Residency preceptors are practice role models who will coach you to achieve and exceed your highest potential as a pharmacist. Our purpose is to produce clinical practice leaders who will be fully prepared for the next level of practice and worthy of labels such as "practitioner," "role model," and "coach."
