PGY2 Critical Care Residency: Augusta

Program Description

The PGY-2 Critical Care Residency provides the resident with advanced clinical training in critical care pharmacotherapy, as well as numerous opportunities for research, teaching, and scholarship. Upon completion of this residency, the pharmacist will be a competent clinical pharmacy practitioner in critical care that engages in multidisciplinary collaboration, demonstrates advanced critical thinking skills, and is able to design and implement complex medication recommendations in this fast-paced environment. Graduates of this program will be adequately prepared to enter critical care pharmacy practice as a clinical specialistand/or academician.

This specialized residency in Critical Care Medicine is a 12 month training program.  Resident will enroll in Graduate School at the University of Georgia, and receive a Graduate Certificate upon completion.

Application & Materials

Successful candidates for the PGY2 Critical Care Residency (Augusta,GA) must have a Pharm.D. degree and PGY1 Certificate of Residency completion, be a U.S. citizen and supply proof of pharmacy licensure.

Applications will be accepted on PhORCAS (https://portal.phorcas.org/) until January 2nd.
Applicants are encouraged to submit their applications early to facilitate scheduling of the on-site interview.
