Program Description

The University of Georgia College of Pharmacy and the Augusta University (AU) Medical Center provide a 12-month ASHP Accredited PGY2 Oncology Pharmacy Residency program. Residents are appointed as graduate teaching students for the College of Pharmacy and The University of Georgia awards a graduate certificate for successful completion of the residency program. This post-graduate experience provides comprehensive training in many areas of oncology pharmacy. The flexibility of the program allows residents to individualize the residency to meet their specific needs and interests. The residency practice sites are the 478 bed AU Medical Cancer and the Georgia Cancer Center located in Augusta, GA. The hospital is a national leader in patient and family-centered care.
