Research Interests

To explore the role of Protein Kinase B (Akt) in pulmonary endothelial-barrier breakdown, leading to inflammation in the alveoli and its reduced gaseous exchange capacity in Acute lung injury and Acute respiratory distress syndrome. As well as, to explore the role of endothelial-barrier break down in prostate cancer metastasis.
