Welcome to the Southwest Georgia Pharmacy Program of The University of Georgia College of Pharmacy
Our Program is located in Albany, Georgia and provides a variety of educational opportunities for students throughout Southwest Georgia. Our overall aim is to advance the profession of pharmacy and improve health-related outcomes in the region through excellence in instruction, scholarship and the provision of pharmaceutical care.

The Office of Experience Programs is responsible for the oversight of all early and advanced practice experiences offered through the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy.
In addition to the above opportunities with our full-time faculty, the Southwest Georgia region of the State has approximately 70 pharmacist preceptors offering a variety of advanced practice experiences. Students have opportunities in hospitals, long-term care, community pharmacies, specialty pharmacies, ambulatory care clinics and others.
Faculty offices as well as our conference and classroom facilities are located in the Academic Building on the campus of Albany State University. Our state-of-the-art interactive technology allows us to deliver classroom lectures and small group sessions to students located in Athens, Augusta, Atlanta and Savannah.
